The CardioSoft™ Spirometry application with the SpiroSoft® module provides a spirometer and software to manage your patients with pulmonary function disorders, such as asthma, COPD and CHF. CardioSoft Spirometry follows the American Thoracic Society (ATS) guidelines for spirometry, the accepted standard in the industry.
The small, easy-to-handle SpiroSoft module allows you to determine inspiratory and expiratory lung volumes, including FVC and FEV1. Through a simple connection to your PC’s serial port, it measures respirations through patient-specific measurements and protocols, then graphically displays full test or ATC-formatted results. In addition, the SpiroSoft module features disposable patient mouthpieces, reducing cross-contamination concerns during testing. And its self-calibrating function ensures accurate measurements with every use.
The CardioSoft Spirometry program enables you to compare data graphs, and review information through data summaries and ATS test comparison. An interpretation statement library is provided and allows users to add to it. The data can be stored in the CardioSoft database, and can be reviewed and printed in multiple, configurable report formats using your PC’s printer. CardioSoft’s Windows®-based environment provides a simple user interface for easy navigation and advanced reporting functionality.
